The 6 Fight Night of the Punch Boxing Series by Indian Boxing Promoter Arif Khan has been announced and will be held at Crowne Plaza, Greater Noida on 13th March 2021
As a nascent organisation entering into the World of Professional Boxing, it was important that the Indian officials be trained by the best, hence the Indian Boxing Council requested Ms Marianna Borissova (Bulgaria) –WBA Supervisor, Mr Stanley Christodolou (South Africa) –WBA Referee & Judge, and Dr John Fleming (South Africa) – WBA Medical Commission, to conduct a 3 day Workshop for IBC Technical Officials in India. The Workshop was a tremendous eye opener and a learning opportunity for all Ringside officials making their Professional Boxing Debuts in India.
Indian Boxing Council conducted its 1st Ring Officials & Ringside Doctor Workshop and Qualifying in 2015 at Pune. 13 Officials from across India attended the workshop and were qualified as the first set of Ringside Officials for the IBC
The First Contact clinics were devised as a way to reach out to the Boxing Community across the country and introduce the concept of Professional Boxing to them. Every FCC was organized with hundreds of Boxing enthusiasts from around the region in attendance.
