The Indian Boxing Council (IBC) is a National Boxing Commission for Professional Boxing in India. Pro Boxing Events and Pro Boxing Fight Nights are sanctioned by the Indian Boxing Council.
The IBC came into being in July 2015 as India’s first National governing body for Professional Boxing.
Former Indian Amateur Boxing Federation Secretary General Brig. PK Muralidharan Raja, who conceptualised the body, was named IBC’s first President.
The IBC is also a strategic partner of the World Boxing Council (WBC) in India.
