On 16th July 2023, National College hosted a groundbreaking Pro Boxing event in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, featuring 32 talented boxers from across India. Inaugurated by Tamil Nadu’s Minister of Education, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi the event showcased rising stars, including 19 fresh faces making their professional boxing debut. The event was co-promoted by boxing promoters Sivaramachandran B Rajnikanth.
Indian Boxing Council (IBC) concluded an intensive three-day workshop and certifying examination for 17 aspiring ring officials from the South Zone between 13th to 15th July 2023 at Trichy
