Professional boxing excitement reaches a crescendo in North-East India as Arunachal Pro Boxing (APB) Season 4 arrives at the Mopin Solung Ground in Itanagar.
Originally scheduled for October 16, the blockbuster event has been officially preponed to Thursday, October 15, 2026. The date adjustment was made to align with the schedule of the Honorable Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh—an avid boxing enthusiast and supporter of regional sports development—who will attend the event as the Chief Guest.
Promoted by Hari Tache under Arunachal Pro Boxing (APB) and sanctioned by the Indian Boxing Council (IBC) under Supervisor Manoj Panwar, the 10-bout card is headlined by two major championship contests.
Double Championship Feature:
IBC India Title – Super Lightweight Division (10 Rounds): Unbeaten local powerhouse Poken Siga (3-0-0) steps up for the biggest fight of his career as he challenges highly experienced contender Vanlalawmpuia (16-4-1) for the national crown.
IBC State Title – Welterweight Division (8 Rounds): Undefeated prospects Giogi Juna (3-0-0) and Sachin Flago (2-0-0) square off in an all-Arunachal showdown to claim regional supremacy.
Undercard & Regional Prospects:
The stacked undercard features a heavy lineup of regional talent across 4-round bouts, including Light Heavyweight prospect Dhroov Gupta (2-0-0) taking on Laishram Shyamkumar Meitei, Cruiserweight Deep Laishram (8-2-0), and a wave of rising pro debutants making their sanctioned debut under IBC rules.
