A sparse crowd at the Dwarka Sports Complex in New Delhi witnessed a swift main event finish on October 6, 2026, as Kazakhstan’s Aidos Tastayev claimed the vacant UBO Continental (Asia) Super Welterweight Title. Promoted by Anam Ansari (Ali Boxing Promotions) and sanctioned by the Indian Boxing Council (IBC) under the supervision of Manoj Panwar, the 4-bout fight night saw Tastayev face a last-minute adjustment. Originally scheduled to take on India’s Suraj Kumar, Tastayev instead stepped into the ring against replacement fighter Sanjay Kumar. The Kazakh fighter wasted no time asserting dominance, dispatching Sanjay Kumar via Technical Knockout (TKO) just 2:39 into the opening round. In the co-feature, experienced Super Featherweight Sagar Chauhan put on a clinical performance, sweeping all six rounds against Shamu Ram on all three judges’ scorecards.
